The Passion of the Christ (Film)

Seeing this film makes me realize that God really loves me so much. He sacrifices His life for me and for the salvation of my sins. I am a great sinner and I should be the one who will pay for my sins but because of His great love, He saves me from my sins. I shed with much tears as I saw this movie because I clearly have seen the unending suffering of Christ to save mankind. I then ask, "Lord, how can I pay for all my sins?"

This movie transforms me and made me whole. I know Christ and how He sees my worth in spite how sinful I am. He understands and forgives me. His love is without measure.

This film really change me into a new person.

I have seen the fights between Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez this morning in the ABS-CBN TV station telecast. I was not giving much attention to the fight because I was amazed with the extraordinary voice of this person named as Michael Buffer. I have searched directly in the Internet about his life.

What amazed me is his voice. It attracts people's attention!

Listening back.

I am doing some blog posts for my blog's ads as I listened to the Music as well. It is so good to look back and listen the old songs that are famous during my time. I come across Michael Jackson's "Have You Seen my Childhood". I pay attention to every line of the song and in fact, I replayed it many times.

The lines that touches me is "Have you seen my childhood...before you judge me, try hard to love me and ask yourself...Have you seen my childhood".

Looking back of the life story of Michael Jackson, and after all the controversies and now that he is already gone, if people judge him wrongly before, now, they might understand all the things that Michael shared to.

For me, he is a true person that touches the heart of many especially to those that he shares and feeds with love and support worldwide.

We can say that his childhood is not that really happy because of maltreatment that he suffered from his father. But there are also good doings that Michael shares to the world. Though he is not perfect, but he is always reaching out his help especially to the children of the world.

Now that he is not with us, we can contemplate that he leaves POSITIVE imprints in our lives.

Memoirs of Geisha

Watching this movie entitled, "Memoirs of Geisha" captivates my senses of a romantic portrait of Asian culture through a Western lens. "Memoirs of Geisha" is a sweeping romantic epic set in ta mysterious and exotic world that still costs a potent spell. The story begins in the years before World War II when a penniless Japanese child is torn from her family to work as a maid in a geisha house. Despite a treacherous rival who nearly breaks her spirit, the girl blossoms into the legendary geisha Sayuri (ZIyi Zhang). Beautiful and accomplished, Sayuri captivates the most powerful men of her day, but is haunted by her secret love for the one man who is out of her reach (Ken Watanabe). Nine-year old Chiyo, a poor fisherman's daughter, is taken from her family and sold to a geisha house. From her start as a common household maid, she blossoms into one of Kyoto's most renowned geisha, surviving the envy and treachery of the competition.

This movie stars Zhang ZIyi, Ken Watanabe, Michelle Yeob, Koji Yukusho, Gong Li and many more. This film is directed by Rob Marshall.
